Lula Lake Land Trust Director Bill Chipley has received much needed office help from the Trust’s first intern, Jolene Harrell. Jolene is a junior print journalism major at Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tennessee, and has been working for the Trust since July.

Jolene is originally from Port Charlotte, in southwest Florida, but has lived in the Chattanooga area for two years. She graduated from a boarding high school in Calhoun, Georgia in 1998.

During her time with the Trust, Jolene has developed an informational brochure about the Trust, created various other office publications, and edited the newsletter, among other tasks.

"Working at the Trust has been a great experience for me," Jolene said. "I appreciate this opportunity. I have learned a good deal from the projects I’ve worked on and have really enjoyed it, too."
