Support our work
support conservation

There are many ways to donate to Lula Lake Land Trust (LLLT): donate to our Annual Fund, donate an honorary/memorial gift, donate a lasting legacy with a bequest, or donate as your business to become a corporate steward. LLLT is a 501(c)3 non-profit, charitable organization. Most donations are tax deductible. Acknowledgement letters are issued for all qualifying donations.

Donate to our Annual Fund

Just as every sight is worth the hike, every gift counts in support of our mission. Donations of any amount help us introduce youth to nature, most for the first time, and preserve natural landscapes through conservation, education, and low-impact recreation. We want you to know that, behind-the-scenes, we  work diligently to maximize the impact of your generous contributions.

Special Note: If your employer matches your donations, please let us know.
We will file the necessary paperwork

Honor a Loved One

Lula Lake is a special place for so many people. Gifts in "Honor" or "Memorial"  commemorate your favorite nature lover and outdoors person.  All gifts will be acknowledged to the recipient with a letter and special note from you.

Leave a Lasting Legacy

Lula Lake Land Trust is poised to exist for many generations to come. Your bequest honors our work in conservation, education and recreation on Lookout Mountain as we seek to purchase and conserve thousands more acres and protect Lookout Mountain as you've known it since you were a child. Please consider a final gift of land, stocks or bonds, a portion of your estate, or annuities. Your gift will ensure that Lula Lake lives - in perpetuity. And that is a very long time! Please contact Matthew at matthew@lulalake.org.

Behind the Waterfall

Lula Lake Land Trust was established by the will of Mr. Robert Davenport, Sr. at his death in 1994. Since then, his children Bobby, Elliott, Eleanor and Adelaide along  with the Board of Trustees, local foundations and staff have helped to conserve over 8,000 acres on Lookout Mountain, doubled the size of Cloudland Canyon State Park, built nearly 60 miles of recreational trails spanning private, conservation, and state owned lands. Our fee owned properties are research sites for  UTC, UGA, and the State of Georgia Forestry Division as we seek to reintroduce the American Chestnut Tree while attempting to fight the Hemlock Wooly Adelgid with both chemical and biologic agents. We are in continuous pursuit of additional properties to protect and conserve within the Rock Creek and Bear Creek watersheds on Lookout Mountain. We seek to become outstanding stewards of conservation lands surrounding Chattanooga, Tennessee along with our 6 other land trust partners in the region.
